What would be a better way to start off the year than at the world’s first fully-themed “We Bare Bears” pop-up café? Kumoya Café has you covered!
The restaurant opens tomorrow, and you’re going to want to be first in line to see everything it has to offer – from delicious food to unique decorations and exclusive merchandise.
Here’s where you gotta be tomorrow:
Date: 4 January 2020 (Saturday) – 12 April 2020 (Sunday)
Opening hours: 12.00pm – 9.30pm (Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sun) & 12.00pm – 10.30pm (Fri, Sat)

This isn’t Kumoya’s first time at the rodeo. They’ve done plenty of pop up shops before, including ones for Pusheen, Snoopy and My Little Pony.
The menu in particular was created by local blogger Shirley Wong, better known as “littlemissbento”, well known for her intricate and unique designs.

“We Bare Bears” is a popular Cartoon Network show about three bears trying to assimilate into a human city. Even if you’ve never seen the series, you’ve definitely seen the bears around as plushies. Everyone loves them, and how could you not? They’re adorable!

The pop-up shop is completely halal. The menu has no pork, no lard and no alcohol and they are prepared by a team of Muslim staff and colleagues in a manner that is suitable for Muslim dietary palette. The ingredients are also sourced from major Halal distributors and suppliers.
It will be up for around 3 months, but time flies so make sure not to miss your window! Remember that it’s closed every Monday to give the workers and chefs a rest.
