Singer-actor Namewee are among the few Malaysians who are worried that they will not be able to return to their home country, following the partial lockdown issued by the government.
As reported on Liberty Times, the singer, who is currently in Taiwan, shared his situation with fans recently, saying that he is happy that the country has decided to implement a good preventive measure to help contain the virus, but is also worried that he may not be able to return to Malaysia.
“I am worried that I may not be able to return and my work will be affected by that. I don’t know when the epidemic will end and whether more people will be affected,” he said.
The singer also expressed hope that everybody in Malaysia will cooperate with the restricted movement order so as not to worsen the situation, and that everybody can pass this trying period in history.
It was reported that Namewee had considered returning to Malaysia on this 20th, but is concerned that he would not be able to come back to Taiwan afterwards to complete his work.
