Actor Masaki Okada and actress Mitsuki Takahata are now married.
The news was revealed on 19 November via their respective agencies, which stated, “We are pleased to announce that Masaki Okada and Mitsuki Takahata have decided to get married. We kindly ask for your continued support for Okada and Takahata in the future.”
On the same day, the couple also shared the news on their Instagram accounts, posting a joint message that read, “We both started our careers in our teens, and thanks to countless wonderful people and works we’ve encountered, and most of all, your support, we have made it this far.”
“We are truly happy to be able to make this announcement, and we are a little nervous as well. We have spent time together like best friends, but now, we will become a married couple. We will continue to work hard to show you our best selves in our future projects, supporting and encouraging each other. We would be grateful for your warm support as we begin this new chapter in our lives.”
At the end of the post, they included their handwritten signatures.
The two starred together as a married couple in the Prime Video drama “1122: For a Happy Marriage”, which was released in June this year.
