Ailee is set to marry actor-turned-entrepreneur Choi Si-hoon on 20 April of next year.
In a statement released by A2Z Entertainment on 19 November, the agency said, “After being introduced by a mutual acquaintance, the couple has been dating for about a year. With deep love and trust, they decided to tie the knot.”
“Both families have blessed their decision, and we would like to thank fans for their support and warm wishes following the announcement of their relationship,” they added, as reported by Korea Times.
At the same time, the agency stressed that Ailee is committed to her career and will continue to perform even after marriage.
“I will work even harder than before to grow as a person and live my life to the fullest. Please continue to cheer for us as we embark on this new journey together, and we will strive to live happily,” said Ailee in a post written on her fan cafe.
Ailee and Choi, who became famous after joining the Netflix show, “Single’s Inferno”, went public with their relationship in March last year.
