Following his departure from RIIZE, it was revealed that Seunghan will be making his debut as a solo artiste.
The news was confirmed by SM Entertainment on 15 November in a statement that read, “Seunghan is currently preparing to debut as a solo artiste in the second half of 2025 and is receiving full support and guidance across several aspects considered essential for a solo debut, including systemised training, producing, management and more.”
The company added that any updates on the singer will be shared via his official social media accounts that will also be launched at the same date.
“Seunghan is determined to showcase a new side of himself as he embarks on his journey as a solo artiste and carries out his talents and dreams. We kindly ask for your warm support and attention as he begins this new chapter.”
It was back in October that Seunghan departed from RIIZE after fans of the group flooded SM Entertainment with funeral wreaths to protest Seunghan’s return. The singer went into hiatus for 10 months after he was caught up in several controversies that include him smoking in public while in Japan, and the spread of photos of him kissing a woman.
