Beyonce is leading the pack at the Grammy Awards after bagging 11 nominations for the upcoming 67th edition of the music awards for her album, “Cowboy Carter”.
This means that the 43-year-old singer is now the singer with the most Grammy nominations at 99 nominations, besting her own husband, Jay-Z, which received 88 nominations throughout his career.
Among the categories she is nominated in include Album of the Year (which Beyonce has never won), Record of the Year (“Texas Hold ‘Em”), Song of the Year (“Texas Hold ‘Em”), Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “II Most Wanted” featuring Miley Cyrus, and Best Country Solo Performance for “16 Carriages”.
Meanwhile, Charli XCX, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar and Post Malone are trailing behind with seven nods, followed by Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan, who both received six nominations, which include Best New Artiste for the latter two singers.
The 67th Grammy Awards will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on 2 February 2025.
