Malaysian fans of Indian playback singer Arijit Singh will be happy to know that he is set to perform in the country again after a decade!
The singer, known for performing songs from hit movies like “Chennai Express”, “Dilwale”, and “Jawan”, will be performing at the Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil on 16 November.
Tickets will be on sale on 3 September, with prices ranging from RM1,188 (VIP) to RM298 (Silver).
Rohit Rampal of Hitman Group, the organiser of the upcoming concert, stated that the event will be a four-hour duration with various hit songs from Arijit. “I consider the concert to be a mega show as it costs millions of ringgit. We also plan to invite a local singer to perform alongside Arijit,” he said.
Asked which local artiste they have in mind, Rohit said that they might invite Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza, who previously performed at AR Rahman’s concert, or ballad queen Aina Abdul, who is currently one of the top singers in Malaysia.
