American rapper Macklemore is set to make his first ever performance in Malaysia this coming November.
The rapper, who is currently gaining more fans in the country since releasing his activism song, “Hind’s Hall”, will be a part of the upcoming After Race Fest to be held at the Helipad PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit on 3 November.
HIFIVE Entertainment’s Managing Director and organiser, Sean Pereira, said the concert is a special entertainment for those who come to watch the MotoGP race.
“It would not be complete if MotoGPTM closed without a celebration. Thus, we will bring an After Race Fest. It is not just entertainment per se, as we will be celebrating visitors around the world with various activities including drone exhibition and fireworks display,” he said.
Aside from Macklemore, other lineup for phase one who will be performing at the event include Smash Mouth, Feel Koplo, De Fam, Nidji and 6ixth Sense.
The organiser is expecting 10,000 to 15,000 audiences at the concert, though priority will be given to the MotoGP ticket holders. Tickets will be available via sepangcircuit.com.
