Ronald Cheng recently surprised many when he suddenly announced that he is terminating his cooperation with management company, Mobile Entertainment Running Team Limited.
On 3 August, the singer announced that he has made the decision due to the “discovery of ethical and professional misconduct” of his manager Ho Hing Sheung, and that the arrangements for the handover of responsibilities will be made separately.
In another post an hour later, he said that he will take a leave for a while to rest following his Kaohsiung concert due to “personal emotional and health issues”.
It is noted that Ronald and Ho have collaborated together for many years, and have also created the Mobile TV RTV YouTube channel in 2020.
Meanwhile, his wife Sammie Yu has sparked even more speculations when she tagged several names including RTV’s Instagram handle in a post that read, “Something big [is] coming…”
