Dee Hsu has recently dismissed the notion that her famous show, “Kang Xi Lai Le” alongside Kevin Tsai will return to the small screen.

As reported on Epoch Times, the Taiwanese TV personality, who spoke to the media at an endorsement event recently, shared that she has already discussed the possibility with Kevin and both agreed that it should not be brought back.

“The show is a really beautiful memory for us, so it’s good to let it stay where it is. If we come back to do it, do you think it will surpass the past?” she said. “If it can’t, it is better to let it stay as a beautiful memory.”

However, Dee stated that there may be a chance for her and Kevin to host one or two special episodes, but not a regular season.

The variety talk show made its debut in 2004, and had seen the appearances of numerous stars including Mayday, SHE, David Tao, Ruby Lin, and Vivian Hsu, and even political figures like John Chiang and Jason Hu.

The show ended its run in 2016.
