Na Ying recently assured that all is well between her and the show, “The Detectives’ Adventures” amid backlash from fans over a recent viral clip.

As reported on Sohu, the whole issue sparked recently, when a clip from the filming of the latest episode circulated online, showing the 56-year-old running around before she was jumped by guest star Jacky Heung and fell to the ground.

Instead of helping her get back up, the cameramen swarmed around her to get footage of her fall, with Jacky on top of her.

Netizens who saw the video couldn’t help but expressed anger, saying that the songstress is not a young woman to be thrown onto the ground that way. Meanwhile, others accused the show of concocting the incident just to publicise the show.

Following the backlash, Na Ying took to address the issue herself, saying that she is doing fine and it was just part of the game.

“When I was lying down, Jacky had to pull my face up and the mission was only considered successful only after my face was recorded,” she said.

Na Ying also stressed that Jacky and the others have apologised to her repeatedly, and that everybody was only very slightly injured while playing the game.

“People will understand it when the episode is finally aired,” she added.
