Danny Chan (Chan Kwok Kwan) recently assured that the sequel to his hit 2017 drama, “OCTB” is back to filming.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor shared updates on the series during an interview with Nancy Sit on Metro Radio, dismissing the previous report that filming was suspended due to financial issues.
Explaining the actual situation, Danny said, “At the time, the funds came from mainland investors. And because of the Lunar New Year holiday, the inflow and outflow of the funds were delayed and required several procedures.”
He emphasised that there was no problem with the funds and that they have already filmed 10 to 20 sets of scenes.
Danny also revealed that the series was first announced in 2018, but that preparations had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The original series, released in 2017, stars Jordan Chan, Danny Chan, and Sam Li, among others. The sequel had started filming last year, with Jordan and Danny returning and joined by Michael Tse and Joel Chan.
