Moses Chan recently revealed that he is postponing his initial plan of expanding his coffee business Blooms.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who spoke to the media at the shooting set of his new movie where the cast and crew celebrated his birthday, stated that his wish is for the economy to improve and that the world will be more peaceful.
Asked whether his roastery and craft tea business was affected by the current market situation, Moses admitted that business hasn’t been particularly good, nor is it very bad.
“Coffee is a low-consumption industry, and everybody has their own burdens. Whether we can achieve a balance, it is what businesses have to face,” he said, adding that merchants will have more room to survive if rents are reduced.
As to whether it means he will delay his plans to expand, the actor said that the general environment is not ideal for expansion.
“Although I still have this plan, I will wait until the rent is not too high and the environment is good to do it,” he added.
