Daniel Wu is set to join Ke Huy Quan in the upcoming Universal Pictures’ film, “With Love”.

The actor-turned-director will also star alongside Ariana DeBose in the upcoming film that sees Ke playing a starring role for the first time since winning an Oscar for “Everything Everywhere All At Once”.

The actor posted on Instagram, “Super excited to be joining @kehuyquan and a very talented cast and crew on With Love!”

Daniel Wu stars as Sun Wukong in ‘American Born Chinese’

Daniel’s last film was “Reminiscence”, released in 2021. Meanwhile, he recently played Sun Wukong in the Disney+ series, “American Born Chinese”.

Prior to Hollywood, Daniel, who was born in California and grew up in Hong Kong, made a name for himself working in Hong Kong movies. Among his successful films include, “Gen-X Cops”, “New Police Story”, “Overheard” and “Shinjuku Incident”. He then went on to produce and star in the action drama, “Into the Badlands”.

“With Love” is set for release on 7 February 2025.
