Cath Wong recently revealed that she still has no idea why her concert in Guangzhou was previously cancelled a few hours before she was set to perform.
As reported on Mingpao, the Hong Kong singer, who was asked about the issue of her cancelled 5 November concert during a recent appearance, stated that her team was notified of the cancellation during their rehearsal that afternoon.
“We were caught off guard. But I was happy to receive a lot of encouraging messages [from fans],” she said.
As to the meaning behind the organiser’s “force majeure factor” excuse they used for the cancellation, Cath stated that she and her team still don’t know the reason and that she will leave it to her management to investigate.
“I will focus on my performance. Tickets have already been refunded, and we have not heard any arrangements for a replacement show,” she added.
However, she is confident that the Foshan leg of her concert next month will not be affected.
