The Heaven Official’s Blessing Global Fans’ Screening started off with a bang, at its very first stop in Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands on 1 October!
More than 800 fans and viewers gathered at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Roselle-Simpor Ballroom, last Sunday to catch the Heaven Official’s Blessing Global Fans’ Screening which featured a compilation of Season 1 of the Heaven Official’s Blessing donghua* (*donghua is the Chinese term for animation), and a global pre-release of Season 2, which is slated to officially premiere later this month on 18 October.
Tickets to the Singapore Fans’ Screening went on sale on 20 September at 12 noon (SGT) and were sold out within less than 30 minutes. Lucky fans who managed to secure tickets were treated to an afternoon full of excitement – which included collecting a Screening Gift Box that is exclusive to the Singapore screening, engaging in photo opportunities with two large-sized Xielian and Huacheng character figures that were being displayed for the first time, as well as capturing more memories with photo backdrops and guest cosplayers who cosplayed as the main characters Xielian and Huacheng.
The fun-packed program of the Singapore Fans’ Screening also featured a special guest appearance by VTuber Fulgur Ovid from NIJISANJI EN, who shared his insights on the Heaven Official’s Blessing series as a fellow fan – how he got to learn about the series, his favourite scenes in Season 1, and what he looks forward to seeing in the upcoming new Season 2.
On top of the TGCF Pop-up Drink Menu which is available at ANIPLUS café from now till 22 October 2023, ANIPLUS café has also announced at the Fans’ Screening that the Heaven Official’s Blessing X ANIPLUS collaboration café will be returning in 2024.
Following its successful premiere in Singapore, and subsequently in Hong Kong, the Heaven Official’s Blessing Global Fans’ Screening will continue to meet fans of the series in Thailand and Korea, on 8 October and 14 October respectively.
About Heaven Official’s Blessing
The Heaven Official’s Blessing donghua is an adaptation based on a novel series with the same title by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu from JJWXC. Season 1 of the donghua was first released on 31 October 2020, and its official Japanese dubbed adaptation premiered in Japan on TOKYO MX and BS11, on 4 July 2021. As of December 2022, the widely popular series has garnered more than 500 million on the original streaming platform. The highly anticipated Season 2 of the series will premiere on 18 October 2023, on various streaming platforms available worldwide.
Synopsis
