The passengers who were recently trapped in a carriage of a high-speed train to Guangzhou should be thankful that they were trapped with Joker Xue, as it was the singer who helped expedite the process of their escape.
On 21 September, the singer revealed that he was in the box seat of a high-speed train to his concert in Guangzhou when he realised that the carriage door had malfunctioned.
The staff on duty told them that they were unable to repair the door in time, but that passengers were not allowed to get off the train by breaking the windows.
Thus, as Joker shared on Weibo, he decided to tell the staff, “If I arrive in Tibet tomorrow, please let me know if the railway department can help me bear some of the refund costs in Guangzhou.”
The singer said that the staff, who were unable to see who was behind the door, asked, “Who are you?”, to which he responded, “Joker Xue.”
“Five minutes later, they tore down all the doors,” he added in the post.
Netizens couldn’t help but laugh upon hearing the story told by Joker, with some saying that the railway personnel might just realised that taking off the door would be much cheaper compared to the amount of a concert refund.
