Olympic swimmer Sun Yang ties the knot

Chinese Olympic swimmer Sun Yang recently announced that he is now married.

The athlete shared the good news on 20 July with an official marriage license photo, as well as the license itself via Weibo.

“Looking up and seeing you,” he captioned the photos.

It is noted that Zhang Doudou is a retired rhythmic gymnast from Shanxi, who ended her career in 2017 at 21.

Rumours of romance between the two sparked in July last year, and the paparazzi spotted the two wearing matching rings later in October.

Finally, in June this year, Sun admitted to their relationship for the first time via an exclusive interview.
