Sayaka Nishiwaki recently announced that she has recently tied the knot.

The former member of 9nine shared the news on Instagram with a handwritten letter and several photos from her wedding which she captioned, “Thank you for always supporting me and to everyone involved.”

In the letter, Sayaka, also known to fans as Chapon, stated that she has married someone that she had been dating for some time, and that from now on, the two of them will work together and help each other.

“I will continue to cherish all of you who have supported me… We hope that you will continue to support us in the future,” she added.

It is reported that Sayaka married a former musician whom she met when he appeared as a guest of her music programme, “Music Gold Rush” in 2014. Her boyfriend reportedly popped the question while they were at the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta.
