Daniel Padilla is set to make his big screen return with three new movies with ABS-CBN Films, including one with award-winning filmmaker Jerrold Tarog.

Star Cinema shared the good news recently, revealing that Daniel will be co-starring in “The Guest”, a psychological thriller film under the Black Sheep banner, which will also be top billed by John Arcilla.

“Production will start this year and will be shown in theatres in 2024,” it added.

Speaking about working with John in the upcoming project, Daniel stated, “Sir John is a really good actor. And if you work with someone as good as he is, it pushes you to do better. So, I’m just excited to do this film.”

Meanwhile, Tarog described the movie as a modern film noir with several twists and turns.

Aside from the said movie, the actor will also star in a comedy movie written by renowned scribe Ricky Lee, as well as a reunion movie with real life partner, Kathryn Bernardo.
