Bela Padilla’s latest movie, “Spellbound” is set to be released soon.

The news was shared by the actress on social media with the first poster showing her character holding on to an umbrella with a hand coming out, while sitting next to her co-star Marco Gumabao looking absolutely concerned.

Revealing that the movie was three years in the making, Bela wrote, “So excited for you guys to watch SPELLBOUND in cinemas on February 1. Revive the dead heart this February!”

The movie is an adaptation of the 2011 Korean hit movie of the same name, starring Lee Min-Ki as a magician who falls in love with a woman who sees ghosts (Son Ye-Jin).

The Filipino version also stars Rhen Escaño, Cindy Miranda, Benj Manalo, Ronnie Liang and Moi Bien. It is directed by Jalz Zarate.

Bela has worked with Marco before, though not as an onscreen couple. The actress wrote the script to “Apple of My Eye”, of which Marco played the lead.
