Tang Wei is adding two more accolades on her shelf as she wins Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress from two different awards back-to-back.
On 19 December, the actress was announced best actress at the 42nd Golden Cinematography Awards in South Korea for her performance in Park Chan-Wook’s “Decision to Leave”, making it her sixth accolade in Korea.
She had previously won at the 42nd Korean Association of Film Critics Awards, 31st Buil Film Awards, 27th Chunsa Film Art Awards, 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards, and 9th Korean Film Producers Association Awards.
Meanwhile Park himself won Best Director, while Tang’s co-star Park Hae-Il won Best Actor.
Following that, the Chinese star was named Best Supporting Actress at the 2022 New Mexico Critics Awards, the only star from the movie to win at the said awards.
On the other hand, Park was runner-up in the Best Director category, which was won by Steven Spielberg for “The Fabelmans”.
