“Parasite” star Song Kang-Ho was recently revealed to have donated a huge sum of money to charity.

As reported on Variety, the South Korean actor was revealed to have forked out KRW 100 million (approx. USD 75,000) to donate to the Hope Bridge Association of Korea’s National Disaster Relief, which aims at helping the victims of recent wildfires in South Korea’s eastern coastal region.

Said his rep from Sublime, “Song has been thinking about how to return some of the love he has received from fans. He realised one way to do it was to donate money to neighbours in need. He will be engaged in the sharing culture.”

The said association has also revealed that the said fund was not the first time that Song has donated, with the actor having done so back in March 2020 to help the fight against COVID-19.

Song, who is most known for many critically acclaimed films like “Snowpiercer”, “The Age of Shadows” and “A Taxi Driver”, will be seen next in “Emergency Declaration”, which co-stars Lee Byung-Hun and Jeong Do-Yeon.
