After nearly two years of waiting for the Blinks, it was revealed that BLACKPINK is set to make a comeback with a new album.
The news was confirmed on 6 July by their agency, YG Entertainment, saying that the quartet will be returning in August and is now in the final stages of their album recording.
The four members will also be shooting their music video this month.
Following their album release, BLACKPINK will also embark on the largest world tour ever organised for a K-pop girl group by the end of the year.
The group’s last album was the 2020’s “The Album”, which sold over 1.4 million copies worldwide. During the group’s hiatus, members Lisa and Rosé released their solo albums.
