Piolo Pascual has nothing but good things to say about Lovi Poe, who is his co-star in the new ABS-CBN news, “Flower of Evil”.
The actor, who plays the lead in the Filipino remake of the South Korean drama, shared that he appreciates Lovi’s commitment to her work.
“It is easy to get drowned in this business. But Lovi is so humble, and the way she approaches work, she never gets tired. She really devotes herself to this project. It’s nice [to work] like that. The way I am with her, it is because of her commitment to her role and her craft,” he said.
Piolo continued, saying that every day is a new day with Lovi, and that her love for her craft transcended the screen.
“Lovi knew she was doing it. She is willing to give more, do more, and we are open the way we relate to each other,” he added.
In “Flower of Evil”, Piolo plays the role of Jacob, a man who changes his identity to hide his dark past and starts a new life with his detective wife Iris, (Lovi). However, his identity begins to unravel when Iris begins to investigate a series of murders that could lead to his buried past.
The original South Korean series stars Lee Joon-Gi, Moon Chae-won, and Jang Hee-jin.
