The COVID-19 pandemic in Hong Kong continues to be severe, with stores and restaurants closing left and right.
This includes Cecilia Cheung’s SeeCeciStreet, which was revealed to have been temporarily closed amid the rising number of COVID-19 cases.
According to reports, the actress decided to close down her store in Central in consideration for her employees’ safety, with sources saying that Cecilia continues to pay the staff their full salaries so not to affect their daily lives.
However, despite the physical store’s temporary shutdown, Cecilia will continue to operate the online store.
The actress started her online clothing boutique business in 2016 after receiving demands for a jewellery set that she designed. Following the success of her business, Cecilia decided to open her own physical store in 2019, which is located in the SoHo area of Central, Hong Kong.
