South Korean actor Park Seo-Joon recently admitted that he never thought that he would one day be a part of the upcoming Captain Marvel sequel, “The Marvels”.

In an interview with The Guardian recently, the actor, who is already a household name in Asia, stated that he couldn’t believe his luck when he found out that the Marvel Cinematic Universe wanted to speak with him.

“I actually couldn’t believe it… I’m not someone who has a fear of challenges, but whether I am filming in South Korea or abroad, everything is a challenge for me. So, I did feel some nerves at first. But everyone was so helpful and welcoming that I was able to find my feet really quickly,” he said.

However, Park is tightlipped about his role in the movie, a usual thing among Marvel actors, saying that he is trying to be careful with Marvel-related questions.

While the Korean star made no mention as to what character he will play in the movie, many speculated that he may be playing the role of Amadeus Cho – the 19-year-old Korean American genius who succeeded Bruce Banner as the Hulk.

On the other hand, Park will be shooting his new movie, “Dream” after “The Marvels” concludes filming. The said movie will be directed by Lee Byeong-Hun, and will see Park playing the role of a football coach who has been given the challenging job of coaching the national football team of homeless people.
