Veteran South Korean actress Youn Yuh-Jung is set to make her variety show comeback.
As reported on News Inside, the actress, who became the first Korean to win Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards last year, will be reuniting with programme director Na Young-Suk, a.k.a. Na PD, in a new show, to be aired on tvN.
A rep from the broadcaster expressed, “We are planning a new programme with Youn, PD Na, and PD Shin Hyo-Jeong. It is still in the early stages of planning, so the detailed concept is still undecided.”
However, the rep denied that it will be another season of “Youn’s Kitchen”, which is one of the veteran actress’ popular variety shows helmed by PD Na, aside from “Sisters Over Flowers” and “Youn’s Stay”.
It is noted that this will be Youn’s first variety programme since she won the said award.
