Janine Gutierrez recently assured that she is fine with the notion of ex-boyfriend Rayver Cruz dating somebody new, four months after they confirmed their breakup.
As reported on Cosmo, the actress, who sat down for an interview recently, shared as much when asked regarding rumours that Rayver could be dating good friend and singer Julie Anne San Jose.
“Whatever makes him happy, I just want him happy always. Truly. I’m always going to care about him,” she said.
Although the two have not seen each other for a while now, Janine stressed that there is no conflict between the two of them.
“I always wish him the best and I’m always rooting for him,” she added.
The actress also laughed when asked if it’s true that she unfollowed Julie Anne following the rumour, and made no further comments.
Back in January, Julie Anne stated that she is open to the possibility of romance with Rayver, having been friends with the actor for a while now.
“Rayver really is my best friend… he is one of the people who understands me and who I can talk to about my problem. So yes, I’ve always been comfortable around him because he’s a good person, very thoughtful,” she said.
