Ruco Chan is trying his best to be careful in filming his new drama, seeing that TVB recently had another series of COVID-19 cases in its building.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who is currently filming producer Amy Chan’s new series, “Hidden Door”, stated that he has gone to the hospital to get COVID-19 testing done to ensure his health following news of the cases.

“I would always clean myself up before going home and now I get tested every day. Due to the temporary transfer, some location shoots have also been cancelled. We are just waiting for TVB’s arrangements and cooperate accordingly,” he said.

One of the reasons why the actor remains vigilant about the situation is due to the fact that he has his little girl Quinta at home.

“Actors can’t wear masks during filming, so we have to be even more careful. I hope everybody will maintain a safe distance,” he added.

On the other hand, Amy stated that the production has already taken extra measures to ensure safety, including cancelling risky scenes and filming only in safe locations.

TVB recently admitted that there have been three cases of COVID-19 within the company involving two staff members and one production crew. However, the company has already taken quick measures to ensure everybody’s safety.
