Janella Salvador couldn’t help but feel annoyed that some people think that it is a waste for her to become a mum so early in her career and her young life.
The 23-year-old actress, who sat down with Ogie Diaz recently, stated that she couldn’t help but feel triggered whenever people expressed their sympathy towards her.
“I am still me. I am still who I am. I can still sing. I can still act. I can still work. Nothing has changed for me, so it’s not a waste,” she said.
Janella said that she has no disappointment being a mother as she still can do everything she wants to do.
“I’ve never felt more alive. It’s like my life is starting now, now that I’m with Jude. Jude is next to me,” she said. “As long as you are a good parent, as long as you are a good mum, you’re financially able to raise your child, there is no problem.”
No problem indeed, as Janella is set to play the villain Valentina in the upcoming ABS-CBN series, “Mars Ravelo’s Darna”.
Janella gave birth to her partner Markus Paterson’s son Jude Trevor in October 2020.
