Although she previously planned to hold her wedding in April, Alice Chan recently revealed that she and fiancé Dr Aldous Chan may have to postpone it for now.

As reported on Mingpao, the TVB actress, who appeared at the costume fitting event for her new drama in TVB City, stated that the current COVID-19 pandemic situation may cause the delay, aside from the fact that both she and Aldous are currently busy.

Asked by the media if she is disappointed, Alice responded, “No. In fact, it wasn’t part of the plan before. The proposal only came on my birthday. I think we may register our marriage first and announce it to everybody before holding a banquet.”

As to when exactly they will register their marriage, Alice said that they have to submit the application first.

It was back in November that Alice revealed that she had said Yes to Aldous’ proposal, after the doctor popped the question at her 48th birthday bash.

Both parties have been married before, with Alice’s marriage to Taiwanese businessman James Yen ended four years after their nuptials in 2008.
