Rumour has it that Gillian Chung’s ex-husband is set to tie the knot for the third time, this time with a non-showbiz woman.
The Taiwanese cosmetologist, most known for his short marriage to the Twins member, reportedly has popped the question to his rumoured girlfriend Alice, who is a former flight attendant.
It was further fuelled by the said woman’s recent Instagram posting, as she shared a photo of a Cartier box and wrote, “Wow! Yes, I do.”
Rumours of Michael’s new romance sparked back in August last year, when he posted a photo celebrating his dad’s birthday with a woman whose face he blocked out from view on Instagram Story. Sources claimed that the two of them have been dating for more than a year.
Prior to Gillian, Michael was married to China Airlines flight attendant Ivy Chao in 2016. The marriage only lasted half a year.
News of Michael’s rumoured engagement was criticised by Gillian’s fans, who believed that the singer dodged a bullet by leaving a man who would marry three times in just six years.
Gillian and Michael announced their engagement in February 2018, a few months after they started dating. Tying the knot in May the same year, the marriage lasted only 14 months before Michael announced online that Gillian has decided to file for divorce.
