Rumours are rife that Taiwanese actress-singer Ady An is still in distress and emotional turmoil following her husband Chen Ronglian’s arrest.
As reported on Epoch Times, sources claimed that Ady, who is living in Macau with her husband prior to the latter’s arrest, has not been in contact with friends and relatives for several days since the incident, causing much concern due to the fact that she has a heart condition.
It is noted that Chen was named as one of the two businessmen who was nabbed by the police on suspicions of running illegal gambling operations, which were uncovered during the previous investigation into Macau business tycoon Alvin Chau.
The news was confirmed by Macau Legend Development, of which Chen is the co-chairman of the board, saying that the incident does not relate to the company but “to the personal affairs of Mr Chen.”
Ady and Chen, whose English name is Levo, have been married for five years. They have two kids together, a son they nicknamed 66 and a daughter they called Wa Bao.
On the other hand, when contacted by the media, Ady’s rep declined to comment, saying that they will not respond on their artiste’s private matter.
