Alessandra de Rossi has recently been named Best Actress yet again, this time at the 69th Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) awards.
As reported on Push, the actress, who won for her acting in the Ben Rekhi crime-thriller, “Watch List”, stated that she is touched to be recognised for her performance again, years after she won Best Supporting Actress at 17 for “Azucena”.
“Maybe it’s my last, or maybe I did something right again. Who knows?” she added. “It’s an early Christmas gift for me.”
Alessandra bested other worthy contenders including Iza Calzado (“Tagpuan”), Charlie Dizon (“Fan Girl”), and Lovi Poe (“Latay”).
On the other hand, Best Actor went to Allen Dizon for his performance in “Latay”.
Alessandra previously won a similar accolade at the Gawad Urian Awards 2021 for her performance in the said movie.
