Donnie Yen couldn’t help but sing praises for the production of “John Wick 4”, saying that it was the most fun he ever had on set.

The martial arts actor, who was cast in the fourth instalment of the said film, revealed that he had a positive working experience with director Chad Stahelski and lead actor Keanu Reeves.

“They’re just lovely men, gentlemen, they’ve got a big heart. Keanu’s got a good soul, a good man. Chad is also a very good man, very knowledgeable. People think of him as a brilliant action guy, he’s not [just that], he understands films. He’s a film librarian, he knows what’s going on. I’m having the best time working with them in this movie, [more] than any of my previous Hollywood movies, so I wanted to express my appreciation,” he said.

He can kill men with just a pencil

Donnie  – being someone who does his own stunts too – stated that he was also in awe of Keanu, who did all his stunts himself and putting in all the work.

“He’s no joke. I have that respect for him, and he’s just a cool guy to be around and to work with,” he said.

No news as to what character Donnie is playing in the movie, though it was revealed earlier that he will have a similar back story to Keanu’s John Wick.

“John Wick 4” is scheduled for 27 May 2022 release.
