Jessy Mendiola has dismissed the notion that she is now a has-been and no longer being pursued by producers for their new projects.
As reported on Push, the actress, who sat down in an interview with Enchong Dee recently, stated that it was she herself who decided to decline offers for the time being in order to preserve her own health.
“Ever since before the pandemic started, I received a lot of offers. But I think it’s more of ‘I value my health’ more than anything. And ever since the pandemic started, of course, there’s the fear,” she said.
Jessy, who is now happily married to TV personality Luis Manzano, stated that she enjoys vlogging more than acting, adding that it even pays more.
“I save more now and I don’t do much work but I still earn double,” she said, stressing that she is at a point in her life where she has no longer needs to please everybody.
It is noted that Jessy was last seen on TV hosting the show, “Fit For Life”.
