After teasing fans with her “He said YES!” Instagram post, Gin Lee recently announced that she was actually referring to a new collaboration with Jacky Cheung.
On 5 August, the Hong Kong singer posted a photo of her with the Cantopop King himself, writing, “He said yes! I’ve never expected that there will come a day in my singing career that I will be singing with him. In my mind, his singing and persistence are professional standards and an example for my own learning.”
“This cooperation is really amazing. I can’t wait to see you and share more stories. I hope you guys will like this song,” she added.
The new song, which is titled, “Let the Street Lights Sleep in Peace at Sunrise” (translated title) is composed by Eric Kwok and is now released on digital platforms.
Gin Lee set tongues wagging recently when she suddenly made a very ambiguous announcement on social media.
On 3 August, the Hong Kong singer posted a photo of her with a sunset background on Instagram, and wrote, “He said YES! I’ve been keeping this secret and I can finally tell you the good news!”
The announcement sparked multiple speculations, with netizens wanting to know if Gin was getting married. This include good friend Janice Vidal, who exclaimed in the comments, “Omg what is it babe???”
