Rei Kikukawa recently announced that she and her husband of six years have called it quits on their marriage.
The “Ooku” actress shared the bad news on social media on 6 November, writing “I’m sorry that it’s personal, but let me inform you that my divorce has been finalised.”
“The shape of a family changes, but the fact that you are a priceless father and mother to your children is still the same. With mutual respect, we will continue to raise our children with much love,” she added.
Rei tied the knot with entrepreneur Yoshiteru Akita in April 2017.
The two are parents to three children together: two sons aged 5 and 4, and a daughter aged 2.
