Huang Xiaoming made the news recently after he decided to bow down and apologise for all the hullabaloo that occurred since announcing his relationship with new girlfriend Ye Ke.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actor attended a promotional event of his new movie on 15 November, where he was asked about the backlash against Ye Ke and her subsequent decision to leave social media.
“Some recent controversies are actually quite troubling. I am very sad, but there is nothing I can do. I feel very sorry for making many people worry. I am also very afraid that it would affect this movie, so I am very nervous,” he said.
Huang also choked up and said that he has read all the messages sent to him by fans and that he will definitely take good care of his personal affairs.
“At the same time, I will also work hard to do my job well and make more good film and television works for everyone,” he added.
The actor then bowed deeply for half a minute, saying, “I want to apologise to everyone again.”
