After previously keeping mum on rumours of him signing a management contract, Taiwanese actor Wu Kang-ren finally announced that he is now a part of mainland agency, Easy Entertainment.
As reported on Mingpao, the “Abang Adik” star shared the news on his social media account, writing, “In the 16 years since I entered the industry, I have been taken care of by my mentor for the first five or six years. In the past ten years, I have worked hard, from being unknown to being chosen, from rarely getting a chance to perform, to getting a good role, working hard, to being seen by the audience, and gradually being recognised.”
“I have been trying to be different in my past performances. Get yourself out of your comfort zone,” he added.
Wu then revealed that he has deliberated and eventually inked a deal with Easy Entertainment, saying, “In the days to come, I will no longer be alone. We will walk together on this path of training as an actor.”
Easy Entertainment had since reposted the message on Weibo, writing, “Let’s move forward together.
It is noted that Easy Entertainment is the home of actors like Li Xian, Zhu Yawen, Mark Chao, Song Jia, Fiona Sit, and Sandra Ma.
