Former One Direction member Liam Payne has recently passed away.
The singer was revealed to have fallen from the window of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 16 October on Costa Rica Street in the Palermo neighborhood.
Prior to the incident, Buenos Aires police revealed that they received a call about an aggressive man who was possibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol. However, the police did not identify the said person as Payne.
Payne, who turned 31 back in August, was in Argentina to attend fellow One Direction member Niall Horan’s concert back on 2 October.
The two singers were a part of the famed British boy band, which also included Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson. The five members came together in 2010 after appearing on the UK reality show, “The X Factor”.
Payne had spoken up about his substance abuse before and revealed that he had been six months sober in the summer of 2023.
The singer was a parent to a seven-year-old son with Girls Aloud member, Cheryl Cole.
