Tiffany Tang has cut off her long locks for a fresh do as she leaves her “Blossoms Shanghai” character for her new drama.
The actress recently revealed her new look for the new series, “Single Woman” (working title), opting instead for a short crop while her co-star Mark Chao went with a curly do.
Despite wanting to create a fresh style to distance herself from her previous drama, some netizens didn’t seem to like it, calling her and Mark’s “ramen head” style (as they described it) as “ugly”.
However, fans came to her defence, saying that Tiffany has donned such hairdo in the past for her drama.
They also stated that Qin Wen, the screenwriter of the said series, previously stated that she wanted to see a different side of Tiffany when she works with the actress again.
The upcoming drama is based on a Yi Shu novel and directed by Zhang Xiaobo.
The drama tells the story of the heroine Lin Zhanqiao who has experienced several relationships and finally returned to being single. She does not reject marriage, but is unwilling to compromise and longs for true love and a happy marriage.
