Samantha Ko recently assured that she is doing much better following her previous hospitalisation.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who appeared at a skincare brand event in Malaysia on 27 September, was asked about her previous health issue back in April, and revealed that it stemmed from her busy schedule.
“I was busy with my variety show and my new drama, and went to bed almost at 3 or 4 am every night. It was so intensive that I got sick. There were some problems with my lymphatic system. The doctor told me to take a break and rest,” she said.
Samantha added that she also went to a traditional Chinese medical practitioner to help her condition her body, and had TVB reschedule her work so that she can have more rest.
Asked if she would slow down her work, Samantha said, “Absolutely not.”
“I have been in the industry for 15 years and have been waiting for an opportunity. I have been waiting for myself to become famous in the entertainment industry, so I cherish all job opportunities. I told the company to fill up my work. I like working very much because my works are well received and fans are happy to see us, which gives me a sense of accomplishment, so I have not asked the company to reduce my work,” she added.
Samantha will soon begin filming the sequel to her hit TVB series, “The Queen of News”, as well as the movie version of the drama.
