Australian actress Yerin Ha has recently been cast to play Sophie Beckett, the love interest of Benedict Bridgerton in season four of the hit Netflix Regency-inspired show, “Bridgerton”.
The Australian-Korean actress will be joining the already huge cast of the show including Luke Thompson, the actor who will reprise his role as Benedict for the season that will finally feature him as the lead.
Season four will be based on the third “Bridgerton” book, “An Offer from a Gentleman”, which fans of the novel series dubbed the Cinderella-esque story.
The official logline read, ” “The fourth season of ‘Bridgerton’ turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict. Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down – until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.”
The third season of the show was released back in May, with Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton playing the leads as Penelope Featherington/ Lady Whistledown and Colin Bridgerton, respectively.
Yerin Ha is most known for her role as Alice in “Bad Behaviour” and will be seen in the “Dune: Prophecy” series playing Young Kasha.
