Not much has changed except for age when it comes to Sammi Cheng, as she celebrated her 52nd birthday with her friends wearing the same blouse she wore 23 years ago.
On 20 August, the Cantopop queen posted a couple of photos from her birthday celebration, and wrote, “After taking a break for more than 10 days, I feel full of energy. I wore the red blouse from the ‘How to Shed Tears’ music video from 23 years ago. Nothing’s changed. I have always preferred red.”
Sammi said that sharing her age with the public was never a taboo to her, as she embraces and cherishes herself at every stage of her life.
“You should live your best life at every age. Be content and happy, exercise more. The whole five months of this year were just to put on a good concert. However, everything is worth it.”
“Time flies, September is about to enter. Keep working hard for your life, your health, and your favourite job,” she added.
