Regarding future plans, the company said, “She will not be participating in the recently announced “SKE48 16th Anniversary Festival 2024,” but she is planning to participate in the SKE48 33rd single and the upcoming special event. We will report on the details of her participation and non-participation in other activities as they occur.”
Sakura also posted, “Since I joined SKE48, I have been balancing my studies and my work, and although it was a difficult situation, I have been doing my best in my own way. However, as I was about to graduate, it became difficult to balance the two, so I decided to take a break.
“I will definitely come back, so I hope you will wait for me. Thank you for your support,” she added.
Sakura, who is from the Aichi prefecture, joined SKE48’s 11th generation in March 2022.
