Fans of Taiwanese star Greg Hsu were utterly surprised after it was revealed that the actor has enlisted in the military.
At the age of 33!
It all started with rumours of his enlistment, after several netizens who had completed their military service shared online that they saw the actor enlisting in the basic military training.
It was further fuelled by his absence from the press conference of his crime comedy, “GG Precinct”.
When asked about it, Greg’s management agency confirmed this, saying, “Thank you for your concern. Greg is currently serving in the army. Please give us some space. We also look forward to bringing you more beautiful works after returning next year.”
The management company, however, did not disclose when the actor will be completing his military service.
It was reported that Greg will be undergoing 21 days of basic training before being reassigned to a substitute service unit.
