Carman Lee recently surprise everybody with photos of her in a wedding dress.
But hold your horses, folks. It wasn’t her actual wedding.
The 58-year-old, who posted photos of her supposed nuptial on Instagram, revealed in the caption that it was her character Chen Lin from her new drama, “Afternoon Rose” (translated title) who got married.
“Do you like this wedding dress style? In the drama, He Gang and I play husband and wife. Can you tell that we have a 16 year age difference? I also have an 8-year-old daughter Mengmeng in the drama,” she posted.
Carman said that she is finally fulfilling the wishes of her fans to see her “get married”.
It is noted that the 58-year-old actress was in a relationship with wealthy businessman Guo Yingquan for a long time in the past. However, while she tried her best to be a good partner and reduced her work despite being at the peak of her career then, Carman said she was deeply hurt in the relationship and had taken five years to finally heal from it.
