Anthony Wong has recently mocked British author JK Rowling yet again for her recent social media post against Olympic boxer Imane Khelif.
The “Harry Potter” author, who had been silent on X following news that the boxer will be suing her over allegations that she is a trans man, recently quoted an article that read, “It’s important to highlight that launching a PR campaign and applying layers of thick makeup requires far more time and effort than simply making DNA test results public.”
The post had since received mixed reactions from netizens, with many saying that the author is still banging on false narratives rather than apologise for her mistakes.
Anthony has also posted his two cents about Rowling on social media on 25 August, writing, “That Rowling is really quite nasty, mocking Khelif for having more time to don a makeup than release a DNA report. So, if someone suspects that you, Rowling, has mental illness, would you have time to write a book rather than make a psychiatric test report public?”
“Of course, they have to sue you first if they have proof,” he added, ending the post by calling the author the slightly derogatory Hong Kong term for “middle-aged woman”.
It is noted that Anthony previously expressed his support for Taiwanese Olympic boxer Lin Yuting, who was also accused of being a trans by Rowling, saying that people should read more books on the subject of sex and gender.
